2022 League Season Information

We’ve had 11 previous iterations of this into article. I won’t get too fancy, but we do have a couple new team owners this year so I'll add the important information below. The season kicks off September 8th with Bills vs Rams. You all know me, I don’t like to draft until we have to so we can avoid drafting injured players. I scheduled the draft for the Sunday before week 1: 9/4/22. NFL.com worked decently last year and they supposedly have made more updates to the mobile app this year so we’ll try their draft client again for our upcoming draft.

DRAFT DATE AND TIME:

Sunday September 4th, 5:00 MDT

League Reminders:

• We added a superflex position last year and will keep it again this year. That means you can play a QB in that superflex spot. I think it was an interesting wrinkle that prioritized the QB position similarly to how important it is in real life.

• Still no kicker position. I didn’t miss it at all.

• Make sure to set your keeper. Keeper rules found below.

• Make sure to pay your $15 before the season kicks off.

• To keep the league competitive all season, if you end up in the consolation bracket and win that bracket, you get first choice of draft position next season.

Keepers:

If you want to keep a player, make sure it meets the basic rules we have in place.

1. You have to have drafted (or inherited a team that drafted) the player last year to keep him.

2. He has to have been on your roster at the end of the year.

3. You cannot keep a player that was drafted in rounds 1-4 last year.

4. The player will cost you a pick 4 rounds lower than he was drafted last year. Example: I drafted Michael Carter RB Jets in Round 17 last year. If I want to keep him this year, I can, and he will replace my 13th round pick.
